Job Title: Sous Chef - Koie Ramen

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Are you a fast paced chef with a passion for creating authentic and delicious ramen dishes? We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to assist Head Chef and lead our dynamic team at a thriving ramen restaurant in beautiful Gothenburg.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in the following tasks:

Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Lead and inspire a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Train, mentor, and motivate staff members, promoting their professional growth and maintaining consistency in culinary techniques and standards.

Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen supplies, maintaining efficient operations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a leading chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse culinary team.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a busy kitchen and maintain high-quality standards.

Passion for culinary excellence, with a focus on creativity, flavor balance, and attention to detail.

Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations optimization.

Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred.
